16th March 2010: Development Manager Job Vacancy
Advertising new job post - Development Manager for Family Matters York.
An experienced leader is required to direct the next stages of the development of Family Matters York (FMY).
The Charity has an ambitious agenda to extend the range of support it offers to families in parenting, relationships and managing money, reaching beyond the City of York.
The role involves working with a talented team of staff and volunteers to raise the profile of FMY and secure funding for its future development.
Success in this role could lead to the opportunity of becoming the new Chief Executive of FMY.
Proven experience in leadership, communications, project management and marketing and fund raising is essential.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills are also required.
Salary: up to £27,500
(actual salary paid will be a pro rata adjustment based on initially working between 2 and 2.5 days a week)
Contract length: initially 12 months
(subject to 6 months review with prospect of extension)
